• Peanuts have more protein than any other nut!
• Peanuts are absolutely the number #1 snack nut eaten in the US. It accounts for an incredible two thirds of the snack nut market. The total US snack market is predicted to grow to over $77 Billion by 2015.
• Peanuts are also known as goober peas, goobers, pindars, ground nuts, grass nuts and earth nuts  but only ours are known as ViPnuts!
• It takes about 540 peanuts to make a single 12 ounce jar of peanut butter.
• Talking of which, fried Peanut butter and banana sandwiches were reportedly Elvis's favourite!

• NASA consider peanuts lucky. Its a tradition dating back to the 60's and the Ranger missions. Previously every mission had failed, after peanuts were brought in for everyone in Mission Control Ranger 7 was a success and peanuts have been a feature of every NASA launch and landing since.
